Step 1: Cut away console
Using a dremel I cut away the console and temporarily put the dock into place with some lightweight bondo.
Step 2: Apply fiberglass reinforced bondo
Using fiberglass reinforced bondo I built up the sides and back. I then chipped the lightweight bondo away and used the reinforced bondo. Sand smooth.
Step 3: Apply bondo
Apply bondo and sand smooth. Test fit ipod.
Step 4: Apply paint
Apply paint and then fix any small nicks and scratches.
Step 5: Reinstall console
Reinstall the console and enjoy your ipod dock
