Step 1: Create the frame
Using some drywall mesh tape and styrofoam I created the form for the addition to the trim piece.
Step 2: Apply fiberglass matting
Apply fiberglass matting to the top portion of the trim piece, allowing for some overhang.
Step 3: Insert LCD Bezel
After that has hardened with a few layers and sanded, trim overhand and insert LCD bezel into position, hot glue to hold.
Step 4: Apply fiberglass matting
Apply fiberglass matting to the LCD bezel area.
Step 5: Sand and test fit
After installing several layers of fiberglass matting and sanding, test fit to make sure things are lining up.
Step 6: Apply lightweight bondo
Apply a light weight bondo to fill in the gaps from sanding the fiberglass matting. Once this has hardened sand it down smooth and repeat.
Step 7: Apply paint & install
Apply paint to your trim piece, sand smooth, repaint & repeat till look is desired.
